3 suspected drug pushers collared in Quezon

LUCENA CITY –– Three suspected drug pushers were arrested in buy-bust operations in Candelaria town in Quezon province early Friday, police said.

Anti-illegal drug operatives collared Noelito De la Cruz, 38, after he sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to a police agent accompanied by an informant in Barangay Malabanban Norte around 4 a.m., Colonel Audie Madrideo, Quezon police director, said in a report.

Five plastic sachets of shabu worth P17,815 in the street market were seized.

Earlier at 12:10 a.m., policemen also busted Archie Bunyi, 56, and Ariel Arellano, 55, in another drug sting in Barangay Pahinga Norte.

The suspects yielded four plastic sachets of shabu worth P8,150. Delfin T. Mallari Jr.
