Did you know: National Book Week

/ 04:00 AM November 25, 2019

National Book Week is observed every year from Nov. 24 to 30 by virtue of Proclamation No. 109 signed on Nov. 19, 1936, by then-President Manuel Quezon. According to the proclamation, widespread interest in the reading of good books is a highly patriotic duty as well as a privilege. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
