Sarah exits PAR as a low-pressure area
MANILA, Philippines — Tropical depression Sarah exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is now a low-pressure area, the state weather bureau said Saturday.
In its 11 a.m. weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the LPA was last spotted at 635 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes.
The LPA was also spotted moving slowly, Pagasa added.
While Sarah exited the PAR, Pagasa earlier said that some Luzon provinces will have cloudy skies with a chance of rain due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan.”
