DOH monitoring more possible polio cases

/ 04:44 AM November 22, 2019

The Department of Health (DOH) is monitoring more possible cases of polio.

This was affirmed by Health Undersecretary Eric Domingo, who said there are still other cases awaiting confirmation from the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine.

The DOH is set to begin its second round of synchronized oral polio vaccine campaign for the whole of Mindanao, as well as the final round for the National Capital Region, from Nov. 25 until Dec. 7.

Selected McDonald’s stores in Metro Manila and in Mindanao will also host “Patak Polio Corners” during the synchronized oral polio vaccine campaign after it forged a partnership with the DOH on Thursday.
