Police Lt. Col. Socrates Faltado, spokesperson for the Mimaropa police, said the policemen were conducting intelligence operations in Barangay Maasin when they clashed with a still undetermined number of suspected New People’s Army rebels at 10:30 a.m.—MARICAR CINCO
