Lightning kills man on fishing trip in Bohol town

TAGBILARAN CITY – A man was killed after he was hit by lightning in Valencia town, Bohol province on Sunday, Nov 17, yet.

Alvin Salise, 27, and a resident of Barangay Magsayay, Valencia town went fishing in Barangay Cutcutan when lightning struck at 10:45 a.m.

MSgt Jay Ydulzura, desk officer of the Valencia Police Station, said Salise died on the spot.
