Cop in Dumaguete broadcaster’s murder surrenders

A policeman implicated in the murder of radio broadcaster Dindo Generoso in Dumaguete City on Nov. 7 has surrendered after the Philippine National Police sent five tracker teams after him.

Joel Sy Egco, executive director of the Presidential Task Force on Media Security, said Patrolman Roger Rubio turned himself in to his superior officer, Police Lt. Col. Judimar de Leon, at around 6 p.m. of Nov. 13.—JULIE M. AURELIO
