Subdivision guard breaks ‘shabu’ session in Quezon, nabs drug user
LUCENA CITY –– A security guard from a middle-class subdivision arrested a suspected drug user after he found him allegedly engaged in “shabu” (crystal meth) sniffing session in Lucban town in Quezon province on Wednesday, police said Thursday.
Lucban police identified the suspect as Roi Daniel Ratio, 23, a delivery boy, after he was turned over by a subdivision official.
The report said security guard Jefrey Piedad caught Ratio and one Anthony Mia while sniffing shabu inside the clubhouse of Astoria Heights Subdivision in Barangay Abang at 7:15 p.m.
However, Mia managed to escape and elude arrest. He remained at large.
Ratio yielded an aluminum foil with traces of shabu and sniffing paraphernalia. Delfin T. Mallari Jr. /lzb
