2 bodies of suspected ‘salvage’ victims found in Quezon
LUCENA CITY — Two bullet-riddled bodies of suspected “salvage” or summary execution victims were found along the national road in Padre Burgos town in Quezon province shortly before midnight Saturday, police said.
Report from Padre Burgos police station said the still unidentified male and female victims were discovered by a resident lying along the roadside in Barangay (village) Sipa around 11:30 p.m.
The male victim was wearing a black shirt, blue short pants and slippers, while the woman was in a white dress with blue stripes, red slippers, and she also had a tattoo on her left leg.
Investigators said the victims sustained multiple bullet wounds on the head and body. Three empty shells from caliber .45 pistol, two empty shells from caliber .9MM, one fired slug and one bullet from caliber .45 were found at the crime scene.
Police also recovered a shoulder bag containing two mobile phones and clothes.
Police are investigating to find out the victim’s identities and their killers.
