LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested four alleged notorious drug pushers in buy-bust operations in Sariaya town and Lucena City on Tuesday.

Anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Michael Pastoral, 44, and Randy de Guzman, 35, after they sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer and an informant in Barangay Manggalang 1, Sariaya at 6:50 p.m., Quezon police director Colonel Audie Madrideo said in a report Wednesday.

The suspects yielded three sachets of shabu worth P3,108 in the street market.

Police tagged Pastoral as fifth in the drugs watchlist of priority targets in Sariaya.

In Lucena City, information from reformed and rehabilitated drug users led to the arrest of Rex Galvez, 44, and Alvin Gamban, 44, in another drug sting in the coastal village of Dalahican around 8 p.m.

Authorities confiscated five plastic sachets of shabu worth P7,215 from the suspects.

Police tagged Galvez and Gamban as among the suppliers of shabu to dock workers, fishermen, tricycle drivers, and students in Dalahican and nearby areas. Delfin T. Mallari Jr. /lzb
