Reckless rider nabbed for drugs, unlicensed gun too
MANILA, Philippines — A motorcycle rider who tried to elude traffic enforcers was eventually arrested for possession of shabu (crystal meth) and illegal firearms in Makati City Monday night.
The Makati City reported that Romeo Limbaro, 32, was cruising along Edsa – Magallanes southbound at around 7 p.m. when he was flagged down for reckless driving by two traffic constables of Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.
As Limbaro fished out his driver’s license from his wallet, a sachet of shabu reportedly spilled out, too.
This prompted him to speed off towards San Lorenzo Village, but the traffic constables pursued and cornered him.
