MRT-3 resumes normal ops from North to Taft stations after train emits smoke
MANILA, Philippines — Almost two hours after a Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) train emitted smoke and unloaded over 500 passengers, the train line resumed normal operations on Monday evening.
The MRT-3 had to cut its trips from Shaw Boulevard station and Taft Avenue after one of its trains emitted smoke and unloaded passengers at Santolan Station. The train line resumed operations at 6:06 pm.
UPDATE: As of 6:06PM today, provisional service lifted. Back to normal operations.

Thirteen trains are currently running at the train line.
The management has not yet given any reason as to the defect of one of its trains.
