4 drug suspects slain in Bulacan drug busts

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan –– Four drug suspects were killed in a clash with the police during sting operations conducted on Halloween (Oct. 31) and on All Saints Day (Nov. 1).

Glenn Paglinawan and Ricky Librado were shot dead after they fired on undercover policemen to whom they sold illegal drugs at 11:30 p.m. on Friday in Sitio Apple Country, Barangay Bitungol in Norzagaray town, according to Police Col. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director.

Earlier on Thursday, Archie Villegas and a suspect identified only as “Erick” engaged the police in a 1:20 a.m. gunbattle and were killed as they tried to escape in Sitio Pakulis, Barangay Gaya-gaya in San Jose Del Monte City. Carmela Reyes-Estrope/lzb
