No ‘Undas’ break for NFA palay procurement
The National Food Authority (NFA) will continue its palay procurement operations during the All Saints’ Day weekend to accommodate farmers who want to sell their crop.
Its Lanao del Sur office would remain closed, however, following the series of earthquakes that hit Mindanao this week.
“The NFA’s procurement operations is a year-round activity,” said NFA administrator Judy Carol Dansal.
“Our field personnel are always ready to receive palay deliveries from farmers through our 548 buying stations … located across the country,” she added.
