MANILA, Philippines — No damage was reported in airports operated by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) in Mindanao after a 6.6-quake shook North Cotabato Tuesday morning.

CAAP said Butuan Airport, Davao International Airport, Cotabato Airport, General Santos International Airport, Laguindingan Airport, reported no damage in its infrastructure, runway and facilities.
No effect of the quake was felt in other satellite airports such as those in Osamis, Camiguin, and Ilagan, CAAP added, as inspections were also conducted in the said airports.
Among the facilities inspected by CAAP in the airports were the passenger terminal building, tower, runway, VHF Omnidirectional Radio Range (VOR), and other navigational aid shelters.
“Though the facilities were found to be structurally fine, minor aftershocks are still being experienced in the areas,” CAAP said in a statement.
