Cops nab 2 shabu peddlers in Quezon
LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested two alleged notorious drug pushers, including a high-value target in President Duterte’s watch list, in Tayabas City and Lucena City on Monday, police said.
Anti-illegal drug operatives armed with a search warrant arrested John Carlo Cabriga, 33, in his house in Barangay Lalo at 10:55 p.m., Colonel Audie Madrideo, Quezon police director, said in a report.
The suspect, who is in President Duterte’s drugs watch list, yielded four sachets of shabu (crystal meth) worth P10,560 in the street market and assorted drug paraphernalia.
In Lucena City, policemen arrested Jericho Amor after he sold shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay Dalahican around 2:30 p.m.
Authorities seized four sachets of shabu worth P8,250 in the street market.
Police tagged the two suspects as notorious peddlers of shabu and marijuana in their respective villages and nearby areas. Delfin T. Mallari Jr. /lzb
