Businesswoman hurt in Mindoro town shooting

CITY OF CALAPAN – A businesswoman was shot by unidentified gunmen in Pola town, Oriental Mindoro on Monday afternoon.

Lt. Col. Socrates Faltado, information officer of the Mimaropa police, said Charity Ramirez was shot by unidentified assailants in Barangay Matulatula at around 4:40 p.m.

Ramirez was rushed to Grace Mission hospital for treatment. Police are conducting follow-up investigation for possible identification and apprehension of the assailants. /je
