Fish dealer dead in Lucena fire
LUCENA CITY –– A fish dealer died in a fire that broke out in an apartment here early Saturday, police said.
Lucena police identified the victim as Joven Aviles, a resident of Barangay Ibabang Dupay.
A report said the fire of still unknown origin razed the victim’s residential unit in Francisco Villena apartment located at Purok (sub-village) San Lorenzo in the said barangay around 2:30 a.m.

After the fire was put out around 3:45 a.m., the victim’s charred remains were found inside the burned apartment.
No other casualties were reported after the blaze. Authorities are still conducting an investigation. Delfin T. Mallari Jr./lzb
