UST grad tops October 2019 electronics engineer, technician board exams

MANILA, Philippines – A graduate of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) topped the electronics engineer and technician licensure exams held this month, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said Friday.

PRC announced that UST graduate Neil Kenneth Tamina Mendoza took the No. 1 spot after scoring 92% and 94% in electronics engineer and technician board tests, respectively.

PRC said 2,640 of the 4,977 examinees passed the electronics engineer board exams which were conducted on October 19-20.

Meanwhile, 2,589 of the 3,775 examinees passed the electronics technician licensure exams.

The University of the Philippines-Diliman was hailed as top-performing school, followed by Holy Angel University, and UST for the electronics engineer board exams while Mapua University-Manila topped the licensure exam for electronics technician, followed by UST, and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sto Thomas.
