Oct. 20 to 31: Kasanggayahan Festival
Last two weeks of the annual festival showcasing Sorsogon province’s agricultural products and local arts and crafts.
Activities include an eco trail run, Philippine statistics quiz, bakery fair, cultural night and surfing competition.
Oct. 20 to 27: Buglasan Festival
The province of Negros Oriental has put together a total of 237 events held in Dumaguete City with the theme “Negros Oriental Landscape of Opportunities.”
Buglasan came from “Buglas,” the pre-Hispanic name of Negros, which means marsh grasses that used to thrive on the island.

Article continues after this advertisementA weeklong festival featuring the rich history of Mati City in Davao Oriental province. The name of the festival is derived from the Visayan word “buok,” meaning unity.
There will be street dancing competition, short film competition, agri-trade fair, job fair, photo contest and sports events.
