MANILA, Philippines — Operations for the whole line of the Light Rail Transit line 1 (LRT1) are now back after its management implemented a provisional service for more than 5 hours.
The Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) said in a Twitter post that as of 1:50 p.m., line operations from Balintawak to Roosevelt stations have been restored.
“We are now fully operational from Roosevelt to Baclaran station. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” it said.
It could be noted that around 8:30 a.m., operations of the LRT 1 were cut short from Monumento to Balintawak stations only, and vice versa.
According to the line’s management, the number of passengers carried on the line was limited because of mechanical issues at the Roosevelt station. /muf
