MANILA, Philippines — Many parts of the country will experience a cloudy and rainy Christmas Eve due to shear line and northeast monsoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon will prevail in the eastern portion of Northern and Central Luzon.

“Sa Mimaropa [Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan], Calabarzon [Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon] at sa Bicol region, may possibility po na moderate to heavy na mga pag-ulan dulot ng epekto ng shear line,” said Torres.
