1 dead, 2 hurt in Isabela road collision
REINA MERCEDES, Isabela –– A tricycle driver died while his two passengers were injured when a Toyota Vios hit them along the national road here at dawn on Thursday, police said.
Jonel Parado died on the spot while Marivic Parado and Juan Parado suffered serious injuries due to the collision, investigators said.
Police said Prado and his passengers were traversing the highway in Barangay Tallungan about 3 a.m. when the car driven by Kert Ariola made a sudden U-turn that led to the head-on collision with the tricycle.

Ariola was unhurt and surrendered to the authorities.
He is facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and double serious physical injuries. Villamor Visaya Jr. /lzb
