Members of the Deaf community in the Philippines take pride in Filipino Sign Language (FSL), and consider it a part of their identities.
We asked Deaf persons about what they wanted hearing people to know about their community. They shed light on different topics such as how one can involve themselves in the Deaf community and how parents can raise their Deaf children, as per our video report featuring the students, faculty and researchers of the School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde:
