Suspected pusher sells shabu to undercover cop, arrested in Tabaco City

LEGAZPI CITY—A drug suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Tabaco City on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The Tabaco police said Joseph Laurel, 40, was arrested after he sold shabu to an undercover police officer at the village of Tagas around noon.

Laurel yielded two sachets of shabu, or crystal meth, the most common drug being sold in the streets. Laurel is now in custody of the Tabaco police. Mark Francis Banay/TSB
