14 suspected peddlers of ‘shabu,’ marijuana fall in Quezon buy-busts
LUCENA CITY – At least 14 suspected peddlers of “shabu” (crystal meth) and marijuana were arrested in series of police operations in different parts of Quezon province on Saturday, police said.
In simultaneous buy-bust operations, Colonel Audie Madrideo, Quezon police chief, said in a report that anti-illegal drug operatives collared the following:
- Lucban town – Mc Geovic Absulio and Francis Christian Absulio
- Sariaya – Eusebio Aguila
- Pagbilao – Renyito Zoleta
- Tiaong – Dexter Magbuhos
- Candelaria – Christian Balmes and Jhun Meynard Magnaye
- Mauban – Aniano del Mundo, Larry Laurel, and Harold Lane
- Lucena City – Kevin Vidal, Regan Pantua, Janil Aguilar, and Leomar Del Mundo
Authorities seized a total of 33 plastic sachets of shabu weighing 8.65 grams worth P47,500 in the street market.
Vidal and Del Mundo in Lucban town yielded 259.4 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth P93,380 in the street market. /je
