WATCH: Commuter tries his luck by hanging on to jeepney, but ends up getting dragged on road

A distressing dashcam footage was posted on social media Tuesday showing a man who tried to board an overloaded jeepney along Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Ave. in Pasig City.

In the video, a man wearing an orange shirt can be seen running after the jeepney and reaching out his hands to hang on to its metal railing.

Unfortunately, the man failed to step on the platform and was instead dragged down the road a few meters before the jeepney stopped.

Marvin Mercado, the netizen who uploaded the video on Facebook, told INQUIRER.net that the incident happened at around 8 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8.

Mercado said he was not able to talk to the man as he was on his way to work, but he saw him walk up to the gasoline station probably to check on himself.  /ra
