Motorcycle rider killed in Isabela collision
CAUAYAN CITY –– A 50-year-old motorcycle rider died after he hit a truck along the national road in here on Wednesday evening, police said.
Police Capt. Frances Littaua, Isabela police spokesperson, identified the victim as Victoriano Aguinaldo of Cabaruan village.
Littaua said Aguinaldo was traveling along the national highway in San Pablo village at 8:10 p.m. when the motorcycle he was driving collided with the Elf truck driven by Joseph Bergonia.
Due to the impact, Aguinaldo was thrown off and his head hit the concrete road that caused his death.
Bergonia surrendered to the local police and both vehicles were brought to the police station for safekeeping. Villamor Visaya Jr./lzb
