KIDAPAWAN CITY –– The local government of Pigcawayan, Cotabato canceled afternoon classes today in all levels, both public and private schools, due to continuous heavy rains brought by Tropical Depression “Marilyn.”

The order was issued by Pigcawayan Mayor Jean Dino Roquero upon the recommendation of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

Roquero said they would be monitoring the situation to determine if a similar order would need to be made tomorrow.
