Duterte to inaugurate P1.3-B Bataan one-stop shop
BALANGA CITY –– President Rodrigo Duterte will inaugurate on Thursday afternoon the P1.3 billion one-stop-shop building called “The Bunker” in the provincial capitol.
The building worth P1.3 billion was constructed by a Malaysian construction company through the public-private partnership.
It will house not only provincial government units but also 14 national government agencies.
Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia said The Bunker is sharing “our mission of delivering excellent public service towards a better quality of life for all.”
Garcia said the construction of the seven-story modern and “one-of-its-kind” building was mentioned by Mr. Duterte in his state-of-the-nation address.
He said the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration’s one-stop service center for Overseas Filipino Workers would have a facility in the building.
“The Bunker shall host four government financial institutions on the ground floor to add further convenience to the public,” said Garcia. /lzb
