‘Shabu’ worth P3.4M seized in Naga City buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY –– Suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth P3.4 million was confiscated from an alleged illegal drug pusher during a police drug sting in Naga City Wednesday night, a top official of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Bicol said on Thursday.

Christian Frivaldo, PDEA Bicol director, said Matias Matute, resident of Barangay Banga Caves in Ragay town in Camarines Sur province, was arrested at 9:10 p.m. while selling shabu to an undercover agent in an alleged safe house in Barangay Peñafrancia.
