Fire hits residential area in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines — A fire struck a residential area in Quezon City on Thursday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

BFP-Quezon City said the fire was reported in Barangay Old Capitol Site near Philcoa and the U.P. Ayala Technohub area.   /muf

The fire was reported at 11:33 a.m. and the  second alarm was raised at 11:37 p.m.

As of posting, fire fighters are still trying to contain the fire. Arson investigators have also yet to determine the extent of damage.  /muf
