2 nabbed in Quezon buy-bust

LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested a couple, both suspected drug pushers, in a buy-bust operation in Tayabas City in Quezon province early Friday.

Anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Jonathan Ringca, 38, and his wife Mari Joy, 33, after the couple sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to a police agent and his informant in a transaction in Barangay Potol around 1 a.m.

Authorities seized four sachets of shabu weighing 4.5 grams worth P24,750, valued in the street market at P5,500 per gram. Delfin T. Mallari Jr. /lzb
