Charlotte previously attended the Willcocks Nursery School. In pictures of her milestone in prep school, she appeared to be camera-shy and clutched tightly to her mom.

As she drew closer to the school, she was confident enough to greet lower school headteacher Helen Haslem, as seen in a video from Kensington Palace.

In 2017, only the Duke of Cambridge was able to bring George on his first day because Kate was ill while pregnant with Prince Louis. The 6-year-old prince is starting his third term at the school.

According to the private school’s website, its most important rule is to “be kind,” and that it hopes students will have a “strong sense of social responsibility.” Subjects taught in the prep school include art, ballet, information and communications technology, music and French. JB
