BACOLOD CITY—Small Town Lottery (STL) operations in 26 towns and cities in Negros Occidental, including Bacolod City, have resumed.

This enabled 13,000 sales agents and employees of the company Super Lucky Begler that operates STL in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental to resume work, Jose Manuel Villagracia, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) provincial manager, said on Monday (Sept. 2).

Villagracia said PCSO assistance for indigent patients in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City has not been affected by the more than one month halt in STL operations in the province that started on July 27.

In 2019, the PCSO daily allotment for its Individual Medical Assistance Program (IMAP) in Negros Occidental has been P744,504 and P240,000 for the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City, he said./TSB
