Boy, 15, nabbed after delivering 1kg of shabu to undercover cop

CEBU CITY—Police arrested a 15-year-old boy and seized at least P9.5 million worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation here on Monday (Sept 2).

Major Kenneth Paul Albotra, chief of the San Nicolas Police Station, said police were surprised to transact with the suspect who delivered about a kilogram of shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay Calamba, Cebu City.

“He seems like a courier of a drug group. We are still conducting an investigation,” he said.

The drug bust was an offshoot of another operation where another minor was arrested for alleged possession of 100 grams of shabu at a checkpoint a few days ago./TSB
