MANILA, Philippines – Various parts of Metro Manila may experience light to moderate rains for two to three hours starting from 8:00 p.m. of Thursday, a latest rainfall advisory from the state weather bureau said.
Aside from the national capital region, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Cavite, Rizal, Batangas would also be affected by the showers brought by the southwest monsoon or Habagat.
Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains would be felt in towns in Bulacan, Bataan, Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, and Pampanga.
Earlier, Pagasa said that they are expecting the weather to be generally better in the coming days, although they are monitoring cloud clusters on the eastern side of the country.
They also noted that the western provinces of Luzon and Visayas may still receive light to moderate rainfall because of the monsoon.
