Pagasa: Rainy Tuesday in NCR, other parts of Luzon
MANILA, Philippines – Residents of Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon may have to their umbrellas handy as light to moderate rains are expected on Tuesday due to Tropical Depression Jenny, the state weather bureau said.
In its 8 a.m. thunderstorm advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that light to moderate rains are expected over Metro Manila, Tarlac, Pampanga, Cavite and Batangas.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rain showers are currently affecting Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal and Quezon.
Pagasa earlier said that “Jenny” was last spotted at440 kilometers east of Daet, Camarines Norte as of t a.m. Tuesday.
The state weather bureau also raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 in 29 areas, including Metro Manila./gsg
