Pagasa sees wet, cloudy Sunday
MANILA, Philippines – A cloudy, rainy Sunday is expected due to the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its 4 a.m weather bulletin, Pagasa said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila, Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Zambales, Bataan, Batanes and Babuyan group of islands.
Pagasa said residents in affected areas should watch out for possible flashfloods and landslides.
The rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers but due to localized thunderstorms. /gsg
