Bataan village councilman slain in town market, 2 hurt

BAGAC, Bataan –– A village councilman of Barangay Pag-asa was shot dead inside the Bagac public market at 9:50 a.m. on Saturday (Aug. 24).

Edward Galazi, 35, was shot from behind by an unknown assailant.

A man and his son were hurt in the crossfire.

Migrant worker Herbert Lozada, 33, and son Huean were rushed to the Bagac Medicare and Community Hospital for treatment.

The police said the father and son may be transferred to the Bataan Provincial Hospital in Balanga City. Greg Refraccion/lzb
