MANILA, Philippines – Former National Youth Commission chief and embattled Duterte Youth party-list nominee Ronald Cardema on Monday said he is eyeing impeachment and extortion complaints against Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon.
Meron na ngang mga kumausap samin at pati sila e dinali nito dati,” Cardema said in an interview on ABS-CBN News Channel.
Over the weekend, Cardema alleged that Guanzon hired an emissary to extort money and ask favors in exchange of the Duterte Youth party-list group’s accreditation in January.
Guanzon, however, denied the allegation ad stressed that the same is a mere publicity stunt of Cardema.

“For the past 6 months hawak mo kami sa leeg, Ma’am. Habang kami sinasaksak mo paulit-ulit, sinasabi mo na ‘I’m being threatened by Cardema, Duterte Youth is like this, like that’,” Cardema said. /gsg
