“The agency will extend the necessary support and assistance to its personnel. We enjoin all BOC employees to remain focused on our mission and pray for the speedy recovery of our colleagues,” Customs Commissioner Rey Guerrero said in a statement on Saturday.
According to Makati police, BOC employees Maricon Manalo and Marietta Lasac were on their way home when four unidentified armed men blocked them and shot them.
