MANILA, Philippines — Lawyer Harry Roque on Saturday bared he is planning to file malversation charges against Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth) former President and CEO Roy Ferrer and some of its board members in connection with the reported “ghost dialysis” scam.
During a hearing on Wednesday, it was revealed that a “mafia” aided hospitals in defrauding PhilHealth of billions of pesos.
The scheme was revealed by Ferrer and Dr. Roberto Salvador Jr., a former PhilHealth board member. /jpv
