LIST: Canceled flights on Aug. 16

 

MANILA, Philippines — Some domestic flights were canceled on Friday afternoon due to bad weather prevailing in their destinations.

In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced the cancellation of the following flights:

Skyjet

M8 911 Manila-San Vicente

M8 912 San Vicente-Manila

In its daily weather forecast, the weather bureau said Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, and Babuyan Group of Islands would experience cloudy skies with isolated rains and thunderstorms brought by the southwest monsoon.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
