Heated argument leads to fatal shooting in Puerto Princesa
CITY OF CALAPAN—A rowdy, drunken man was shot and killed by a retired Navy officer in Puerto Princesa City in Palawan province on Thursday (Aug. 15).
Lt. Col. Socrates Faltado, Mimaropa police information officer, said Romeo Pagayuna was shot allegedly by Arnold Calopez, a retired Philippine Navy man, at the village of San Miguel in Puerto Princesa.
Police investigation reports said Pagayuna was drunk and had a heated argument with Calopez in front of Pagayuna’s house. Pagayuna died on the way to the hospital while Calopez was arrested. Madonna Virola/TSB
