PDEA busts man with P1.4M worth of ‘ecstasy’ in Quezon City
MANILA, Philippines — Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a man in possession of P1.4 million worth of suspected ecstasy during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City on Thursday morning.
Members of PDEA Special Enforcement Service (PDEA-SES) Team collared the suspect named Arnold Immanuel Dy after yielding some 465 tablets of suspected ecstasy during the operation conducted in Eastwood City, Barangay Bagumbayan.
Also seized from Dy were cash amounting to P500 and a cellphone.
Authorities said the suspect will be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /kga
