MANILA, Philippines — One of the three alleged foreign terrorists showed up at the National Bureau of Investigation “to disavow any terrorist connection,” Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said on Tuesday.

The woman was one of the “three names floated as potential terrorists from an Asian country planning to enter the Philippines. Two of them have no arrival records as per the Bureau of Immigration (BI),” Guevarra said.

The BI, he said, was monitoring “further movements of these persons” while the NBI has also been assigned to investigate the alleged terror plot of those linked to violent extremist groups.
