Woman, believed abducted, rescued at Dagupan hotel

DAGUPAN CITY—A woman believed to have been kidnapped was rescued early on Sunday (Aug. 11) at a hotel in this city, according to police. Adora Taberna Ramos, 40, a resident of Caba town in La Union province, was believed seized on Friday (Aug. 9) at the La Union town of Agoo, and was found at a room of the Star Plaza Hotel by a police anti-kidnapping unit from Manila and Pangasinan province.
