LEGAZPI CITY –– Two alleged drug pushers were arrested on Wednesday afternoon at a drug operation in Tabaco City in Albay province, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Thursday.

Arrested were Vanesa Boral, 30, and her brother Mestico, 22, residents of Barangay Sto. Cristo, said Cotton Talento, PDEA spokesperson.

Talento said anti-narcotics agents, armed with a search warrant, swooped down on the suspects’ house at 5:45 p.m. and seized 80 grams of shabu worth P544,000.

The suspects, considered high-value targets, are facing charges for possession and peddling of illegal drugs.
