Woman’s body found in river in Mindoro town

CITY OF CALAPAN, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines — A woman’s body was found in a river in Bulalacao town in Oriental Mindoro on Wednesday morning, police said.
Cap. Freddie Seno, acting chief of the Bulalacao Municipal Police Station, said the body was found in Cavillan River in Barangay Nasucob at around 8:40 a.m.

He said the woman, who has not been identified, could have drowned.
The body was taken to the Bulalacao Municipal Health Office for autopsy.
